Aimee here!

I am so excited to share a bit of the movie “Moms’ Night Out”. I was granted the privilege with my “Mommies Time Church” group to preview this movie which is officially open May 9, 2014 (Mother’s day weekend)

I found that in “Moms’ Night out”, I had so many connections with my personal life to the main character Allyson (played by Sarah Drew). From the first scene of her enjoying the chaos brought by her 3 beautiful children writing on the walls to the crazy start heading into church. I loved how her husband Sean (played by Sean Astin) reminded me so much of my husband through his support for her and her friends get a little time out for their “Mom’s Night Out”

I also loved how the movie used connections by blending different ages and types of personalities. It brought me to think of how many of us are living a life where we find ourselves in comfort with our day to day. Bringing thought that if we have little or no growth because we will not be able stretches our thoughts and abilities that God has given us to help those around us. It brings realization that only by connection with others through God we will find growth and understanding. We need to remember that God is the light, and we are the candle holding His flame. Our life is to give God the glory and never to shine through our own good deeds or works. I love how this movie bring each connection to a beautiful raw movement, making use of Love and Hope. Bringing understand of how we can service those around us.

“Moms’ Night Out” will bring laugher, maybe some tears, and gleams joy through life’s messy moments. This movie is filled with connection and friendship, showing how God uses those around us to help in our times of need. It’s up to us to open our eyes and share what is going on with those that God has blessed us with.
